I know. It’s 2012. I’m slow. But listen to this. It’s 1950-something, or 1950-something recreated in a David Lynch sketch where he tries to evoke 60s art house movie chic using 40s film noir references. Are all the decades turning in on themselves? It certainly seems that way. Dirty Beaches is Alex Zhang Hungtai from Montreal, still new and full of potential.
